Product description
In less time than it takes to cook a hot dog over an open fire, the Napier Sportz Dome to Go Tent converts your hatchback or small SUV into a cozy lodge. Never before have your outdoor activities been this refined. The Sportz Dome offers the comfort of a tent with the added benefit of full car access. You have plenty of room to spread out thanks to all that extra room. With this much room, you could even bring the kitchen sink. You could sleep in your car and use the tent as a living space, or you could set up camp in your tent and store your goods in your car.

Most Popular Positive Comments
I should note that as this is not our first Napier tent, we might be a little biased. This tent is incredibly well made, of excellent quality, and simple to erect. Very spacious, and with two of us, setup took less than ten minutes. Other reviews I've read claim that the tent won't pack back into the bag; however, this is not how it works for us. Perfectly fits the rear of our 2008 Subaru Outback.
Most Popular Negative Comments
It is a quality tent. It's a great product that we purchased for our Subaru Outback, with the exception of one fault. One of the roof rack fastening buckles had two female ends! That is a significant error that ought to have been discovered somewhere along the production chain. Check out my pictures.

Feb 20th, 2016We just rehearsed setting it up in the driveway, and everything worked as it should have (2 of us). It was very simple to put back into the bag. We'll shortly take it out to the Buffalo National River, weather permitting.

Oct 7th, 2015I'm traversing the US, stopping at National Parks and other places. I'm traveling to the Grand Tetons when I'm writing this evaluation inside my Napier Hatchback tent. Simple to assemble and disassemble. Plenty of space, and I'm 6 feet tall. By spending less on hotels, I was able to go on some amazing trips.

Nov 17th, 2014I like that it can be used as a bedroom or stand alone, giving me the option to use a vehicle to explore new areas. The tent, which is constantly in my car, gives me the flexibility to select on the spur of the moment where I want to spend more time exploring.

Sep 4th, 2020We found this tent exactly what we needed. Easily attaches to our Crosstrek, and the 7-foot ceiling fits this 6' 3" person. 8x8 internal space. Before we brought it camping, setup was a learning experience in the backyard. It's convenient that the carry case includes an expanding zipper (who ever returns anything to its original pack size?).

May 10th, 2021This fits my 2021 Honda CRV flawlessly, which is why I ordered it. Love that there are two doors. The fact that it has fiberglass poles is the sole downside. Splinter-prone and heavy.

Jun 2nd, 2022This tent served us well on our tour to the Scottish Highlands. It fits the Tesla Y fine, however we couldn't fully open the boot, which wasn't a major concern. The tent is substantial and roomy.

Aug 13th, 2020When I first put it up, a friend helped me feel less intimidated. I'm confident I'll be okay the next time. On a soggy camping day, I enjoy that I can stand up or sit on a chair inside. even better is the fact that I can enter my SUV from inside. I can't wait to go camping once more after the summer is gone.

Nov 8th, 2014Simple to erect on my own. Functions as promised. The 2015 Subaru Outback has a fault that I tied it to: the hatch lights don't shut off when they're open, even after a while, which causes battery depletion. There is no quick fix to that issue.
