  Good fan; it does its job. I frequently lose power, thus the fact that I can use this fan with batteries is fantastic. When you go camping, it works excellent as a portable fan that you can carry with you.

  I use this to provide airflow in a loft where I sleep in a cabin. It moves a good amount of air quietly. I'm ecstatic with the purchase.

  I purchased this to utilize in the event of a power outage. To use with my solar generator, I needed something low wattage and reasonably well ventilated. This is ideal. Having the option to utilize batteries is a convenient feature. Although I'm not complaining, it would be great if it could tilt.

  When traveling to hotels, I bought this fan to provide cooling and white noise; it fulfills both jobs flawlessly. I can easily cram three days' worth of clothing into my big backpack. Although I've only used it three times, I can't attest to its durability.

  The description of this fan is accurate. It has two speeds and produces enough air to keep you at a comfortable temperature. It is lightweight and portable. An excellent fan for a fair price.

  We adore it and purchased it to use on our porch. We initially started using it using batteries, but we immediately discovered that they would not last for very long. We are currently using the plug-in.

  If you are sitting outside, the wind isn't blowing that hard. To feel the air, you must be quite close. It's acceptable to use indoors if you wish to.

  For the money, this fan is adequate. When the Electric Company informed us that our power would be down for around 4-5 hours due to work they would be conducting, we actually purchased it for our dog. The fan is functioning normally. Our dog simply enjoys a really strong blast of air, thus I only gave it a three point rating. But I really couldn't expect that at this price.

  The fan itself is effective in small rooms but quite inefficient and consumes 6 D batteries very quickly. No "long" term use, i.e., more than an hour for a few days, is worthwhile.

  As a storm is approaching, I just opened the fan I purchased last year. Only using the power cord, the fan operates at a very low power level. The fan did not operate at all when I installed batteries. My money was completely wasted on this.
