  The mosquitoes don't bother me when I use this on my back deck. It performs admirably. However, I still use insect repellent if I'm sitting in my backyard, where they're the worst. In locations where they don't typically swarm, it helps keep them away.

  Mosquitos Driving Me Crazy

  This year's monsoon weather in Arizona has brought out a lot of mosquitoes, and they have been biting us all a lot. I'm hoping that this works. Excellent scent; eager to use.

  The mosquitoes still bite me everytime I'm outside on my porch in the summer, so I'm not sure how efficient it is at deterring them.

  It functions fairly well. Like most citronella candles, though, this one wastes a lot of its output since the wick's usable portion burns out too quickly. However, because the lid keeps water out, I am able to leave them outside.

  The aroma and the use of natural substances both appealed to me greatly. Sadly, I found it to be completely ineffective at keeping mosquitoes away. Even though we were seated right next to it, we were still being consumed.

  Along with the incense and the spray, I utilized it during camp. I believe that instead of repelling the mosquitos, it attracted them.

  Use this at camp in addition to the incense and spray. I believe that the candle wax was actually attracting mosquitoes because they were flying into it. We were all consumed.

  This candle didn't even keep a mosquito more than a foot away from me from biting.
