  Citronella scent

  The finest natural bug repellent is citronella, which is completely natural but has an unpleasant smell. Although I didn't like how greasy it was, I later found it was a fantastic skin moisturizer. There isn't a perfect bug spray, but I think this is as near as it gets considering it is all natural.

  Good odor Citronella and lemongrass, but not overpoweringly pungent. Since it is oily, either place it around your garment or give it time to soak before putting it on to avoid damaging it. Additionally effective mosquito prevention is provided by dryer sheets.

  This insect spray is great since it has a pleasant (non-chemical) smell and prevents my kids from getting bitten while they are outside exploring. My kids and I can enjoy the outdoors without getting bitten because we live in a region where there are lots of mosquitoes and gnats. I was given this item in exchange for a frank review.

  This insect repellent has a wonderful scent. Once applied to the skin, it has a wonderful texture! We received not even a single bite from the insects despite my generous application!

  The fact that this repellent didn't have a distinct, lingering scent astonished me. The majority of the other products we use on our children leave behind a distinct odor.

  Good For Mosquitoes

  Although it is highly greasy, it effectively repels mosquitoes. As a DEET substitute that primarily protects against mosquitoes, I also take issue with the label. My neighborhood has a lot of ticks this year, so I was hoping for some additional protection. As a result, even while I think this works well to keep mosquitoes away, it does not have the expected effect on other pesky insects.

  Good but greasy

  Although it is a natural repellent free of DEET, it is a little thick and oily. I know that's what I should expect from an essential oil blend - it smells beautiful! - but I have to be careful when I use it if I don't want my son's hair pulled back!

  It Attracts Bees!

  When we go for our afternoon walks, I got this for my 9-month-old to keep her safe from mosquitoes. So I did, and three minutes later bees were chasing her. The bees chase it because it smells so nice!

  My infant has a lot of insect bites despite the fact that I applied this to him in the hopes of preventing mosquito bites. The product is not worthwhile.
