Most Popular Positive Comments
For my patio in spring and summer, I needed a strong insect repellent, so I ordered the Thermacell. I didn't want a large candle or canola-oil-scented tiki torch. The thermacell was located. It appeared fresh and optimistic. We gave it a try, and it truly does work. It doesn't even make a sound or smell. We have terrible mosquitoes where we live in the South, however the thermacell made it bearable to sit outside on our patio! Definitely suggest.
Most Popular Negative Comments
Refills are too expensive to keep purchasing. I invested in an oil burner and filled the bowl with Citronella candle wax. After that, I added a pad to the bowl and lighted a candle underneath it to melt the wax and warm the pad. It is substantially less expensive and repels mosquitoes. Depending on use, the Pad lasts for several months. Simply light another candle to warm everything up. The most aggressive mosquitoes stay away from it. I wouldn't advise using it inside.

May 22nd, 2020This is a sophisticated, unobtrusive insect repellent that doesn't need to be worn on your person or smell bad to work. It works fantastically, and I wish I had bought three of them.

Nov 21st, 2018I got two of these, and the key is to light them and wait for them to warm up and spread the repellant thoroughly for approximately 15 minutes before going outside. In order to establish a lovely mosquito-free area where I could teach my dog, I spaced them roughly 15 feet apart. While working in the yard, I also carried one with me. actually seems to reduce slapping at mosquitoes. NO bites occurred when I utilized the thermocell. A few nibbles when I forgot to use it. helped me enjoy my summer more. Will purchase a few more for the upcoming summer.

Jun 16th, 2021I draw mosquitoes. My feet have been covered in so many fragments that I had to visit the hospital for an allergic reaction. I'm a mosquito magnet. This is why I used to detest being outside. In just ten minutes in the yard, I got twelve new bites. HOLY CRAP, I bought this after seeing an advertisement come up. I'm happy I did. It is completely worthwhile. I am speechless about how much this has already made my summer better! I've already placed numerous refill orders.

May 18th, 2021I can now enjoy my backyard, which I was unable to do previously. It functions fairly well. At least 10 minutes must pass for setup before you use the facility. Allow it to drive off the mosquitoes before you arrive. The mosquitoes seem to be less likely to fly elsewhere if they know their meal ticket is nearby if you turn them on while you are sitting outside after they have noticed you are there. Sometimes the pads don't last as long as you'd hope. I normally use them for two hours.

May 24th, 2022I have tried every mosquito repellant known to man since I have a horrible sensitivity to mosquito bites. This one really does work! On my about 25-foot deck, I have two of the dispensers, and THEY WORK! When I light them around 10-15 minutes before I intend to spend time outside, they are already smoking and working when I return outside. I'm overjoyed. The refills are worth it even though they appear a bit pricy because they last so long!

Jun 17th, 2022a little pricey to operate. But you would also charge a much if you had the one thing that actually works. The tiny clean lens is crucial. Check inside to see if there is a flame. A faint red glow will be visible in the center, followed by a blue center. Insects won't be repelled if the flame doesn't ignite. When the blue pad becomes faded, replace it. There is still some chemical present, but it is ineffective.

Jun 2nd, 2022The promise to get rid of insects in a place like my terrace made me quite doubtful. I've tried a variety of citronella-based strategies, all of which left me feeling unsatisfied. But I have to say, it really does work.

May 27th, 2022I detest mosquitoes. This, in my opinion, is a must-buy. Although I don't mind the scent of the candles, having young children made me want something more secure without flames. We keep them close to us and utilize one on our back patio and one on our front porch. Personally, I think they've done a great job. Before sitting outside, I turn them on for about five minutes. To provide better coverage if I were to host a bigger gathering, I would use both in the same location.
