  did a great job toning my hair, however I discovered that it worked best if you gave it some time to sit. The one drawback I had was that applying it left my hair feeling rather dry, especially on my scalp, but bleaching frequently causes this, so I wasn't too worried. It works well when combined with a quality conditioner!

  I haven't coloured my hair in over a year because I prefer the lovely gray color it is taking on. My hairdresser suggested I try this, and it really does work to cover the dull yellow hue that develops when you let your hair go gray. This is the only shampoo and conditioner that I would ever use, and my hair is now a wonderful hue.

  I reordered this item and was really unhappy to receive something different from what I had previously ordered. I was considering, "How dare you!" My bleached hair was no longer occasionally orange or brassy thanks to the product. I'm pleading with the thing.

  Using this purple shampoo every other wash makes my salt-and-pepper gray hair appear more vibrant. I use ordinary shampoo to wash my hair before lathering again with L'Oreal. My lengthy hair appears shinier and is simpler to style with just a small dab.

  Amazing for highlights

  I adore this combination since it uses no harsh chemicals and leaves my highlights looking lighter and more natural. It also has a wonderful aroma that lasts for hours! Will purchase again!

  I've tried a lot of purple shampoos, but this one doesn't leave my hair feeling as dry and doesn't give me an overpowering purple color. It is also a wonderful bargain and has a pleasant scent.

  This is fine in my book; it does make my hair incredibly soft. My hair is blue and black, so I can't comment to how to tone away undesired yellows or oranges. However, because it's so conditioning, I'd probably buy it again.

  Better packaging might have been possible. The product was fine, but the vendor should have bubble-wrapped the item rather than merely using a bubble-wrapped mailer. The box had been broken. Fortunately, the item inside was fine.

  My hair was a pale silver gray color with yellow streaks. The streaks are going away and my hair is silky and lustrous since I started using this twice a week.

  Did remove some brassiness, but if you're like me and got pee-yellow instead of platinum, you'll definitely need to apply dry or barely damp for a LONG time. as stated by a different reviewer.
